An Ode To Tarwheels!
I wonder about a lot of silly things,
From the very exciting to even boring!
As we roll around from town to town,
And why is a quiet strait a “sound”!
Why isn’t a strait straight?
Like there’s not enough to contemplate!
But what would people say they are,
When they’ve left their home and traveled far?
Israel’s kids were Israelites.
Would the folks in Mebane be Mebanites?
Would those in Hillsborough be Hillsbros?
Would some say Hillsburros?
And in Roxboro is it Roxbros?
Or do you think it Roxburros?
Yancyvillians? Morrisvillians?
Cameronians? Claytonians?
For sure people from Angler are Anglers!

It would beat what other names can be.
It's a good place to be as far as I know!
