If Mona Lisa Had A Bicycle!
77
The Mona Lisa is just a picture without a bike at her side.
How much prettier would she be if she had a bike to ride?
Santana - Smooth (feat. Rob Thomas)
Mona Lisa was painted with such a beguiling smile.
Give Mona Lisa a bike; she’ll smile a smile as wide as a mile!
The Mona Lisa is a fixture more than Whistler’s mother.
The Mona Lisa is pretty picture like so many others.
She has that Mona Lisa look with that Mona Lisa smile.
But- the Mona Lisa riding a bike would be even more worthwhile.
Many artists have taken the brush and painted a pretty girl.
Many took a brush and gave it a curl, and swirl, and a twirl.
It started eons ago on the cave man’s walls.
Without being rude let me exude, what puts a tent in my overalls.
She’s the picture of elegance of course.
She flows and seems to use no force.
She has “that” look. She has “that” dress.
She has class and knows finesse!
She’s right at home with work and play.
She always knows the words to say.
She fits right in with any occasion.
She’s superior with tact and persuasion.
She has so many assets and attributes.
But how do I describe and define her absolutes?
I could take inventory again and again.
And yes, how does one truly begin?
Some might go on about her flowing hair.
Some might prefer to dwell on her derriere.
It may have won some prestigious award.
She has so many assets and many I disregard.
She’s humble and has such a lovely smile.
She has those ways to charm and beguile.
Dents and flaws seem to be nonexistent.
She has an aura. She has a beautiful scent.
The Mona Lisa is just another picture.
Without a bicycle, she’s a museum fixture.
Mona Lisa what is the secret that you hide?
Did Leonardo ask you to go for a bicycle ride?
The colors are nice and it’s painted by a master.
But God gave the Mona Lisa a bike and made her faster!
God gave Mona Lisa life and wheels with wings.
Her instrument is the bicycle. She plays. It sings!
I see my love riding fast and smooth, with riders all around.
Her torso never moves each time her pedal comes down.
She takes a pull at the front and then she moves to the side.
Only the smoothest moves are made when she’s on a bicycle ride.
She’s focused on the task at hand as anyone can see.
She moves with such great ease like a master of Tai Chi.
This mobile work of art blends into every situation.
Her smooth and cohesive riding style is worthy of emulation.
She’s fluid. She has no resistance to stress.
It’s a dynamic viscosity that she doth possess!
She doesn’t just go but she will quickly flow.
Now watch her pedal action and keep her tempo.
On the flats she’s maybe 90 rpms or more.
She considers this pleasure, it’s not a chore.
The pedals are rotating up and down.
That perfect circle is made as the crank is spinning around.
She holds her line, she’s steady, and she’s true.
She’s a grand lady and please don’t misconstrue.
But every attack you make she’ll try to negate.
She’ll pull her weight and then accelerate.
This is no fiction! She has no friction.
This cycling Mona Lisa is now my addiction.
God’s paint brush has now finished my picture.
She’s a part of my heart that is a permanent fixture.
Mona Lisa is so smooth. She’s sweet!
She’s a work of art on a crowded street.
I adore the style with which she rides.
She doesn’t merely ride, she glides!
I often wonder if she was really earth-born.
This Mona Lisa is a rose without a thorn!
It’s so funny that when she’s not on her bike,
I have no idea what she really looks like.
You keep that painting in the Louvre.
You see, it’s not 3-D and it just doesn’t move.
But this cycling Mona Lisa is the Mona Lisa I see.
She’s so smooth she’ll slow down and ride with me!
She’s moving music and mobile art.
She took my wheel and took my heart.
Did I say she's really good at changing "flats"?

Hi Micky...Where did you find all those pictures?..Too funny. You definitely have a wild imagination. I guess that's what I love about you! [[hugs]] Tammy
You are something else Micky! Where do you find all those hilarious pictures? So good of you to share with the rest of us, thank you
You have taken one of my favorite ladies and made her so much more alluring. If Mona Lisa had a bicycle, Leonardo would have had one heck of a time painting her while trying to follow her with a canvas mounted on his bike, water sloshing and oil paints splattering her image into an abstract.
LOL~~~Great Pictorial Hub. ~~~MFB III
Crazy pictures - where did you get them all? I guess it shows what you can do with a lot of imagination! Great things...
The many faces and moods of Mona Lisa? That was so entertaining, thank you!
Awesome hub, love the pictures.
that's brilliant, Micky. Didn't know how 1 chick has so many personalities!
I like painting very much, including Monalisa. It is the masterpiece of Leonardo da Vinci. But I found the funniest thing of Monalisa. You make me laugh, Micky. Thumbs up for you and I rate this Up.
Prasetio

You, my friend, have far too much time on your hands :)

This was WONDERFUL! I so loved the "Pulp Fiction" Mona Lisa! Such a fabulous hub!!
Be careful Micky, Da Vinci will haunt you! Because you made his beloved art become so funny. LOL Thank you for the laugh. ^_^
Hi, Mickey, your a genius! this was great, I loved the pictures, I will never look at the mona lisa again without laughing! thanks nell
You know I only tolerate you? You are a naughty boy.
OMG, I am cracking up!! I LOVE the one with Mona as Mr. Bean! These are truly priceless!
You are a genius-how do you think of these!Brilliant.
That was totally outrageous! I will never look at the Mona Lisa the same again. She was always boring to me, but yet i had a respect for the piece of art cause it was beautiful. Now when I look at the mona lisa, I will be smiling as well. Excellent!
And what does Mona Lisa do when her bike is gone?
When she's back at the Louvre, bored and alone?
Great link! I'll never be able to look at the Mona Lisa again either now without laughing.
Hehehehe, agree she will enjoy a bike ride too, I like the way you presented her in diferent lights, Nice, Like the accompanying music, Santana, rated it up, Maita
I didn't know what to expect when clicking on this hub, but wasn't disappointed in the least. I really enjoyed the poem and pictures. I had the opportunity to see the 'real' her a few months ago. They really ought to give her a bicycle.
hiya MD Dya reckon she went for an aluminium or a steel framed set up? I never realised 'Mo' had such a splendid posterior until i looked at these pics, she prob earned that doing the Milan-Byzantium-Milan on those rough roads.
The many faces of Mona Lisa. Very imaginative. I cannot imagine Mona Lisa on a bicycle until I see the pictures above. Good job. I have enjoyed this hub very much.
What an awesome hub what you did to the poor Mona lisa was just wrong at times Mick lol but I thought it was very cute and I actually thought she kinda looked like Meryl Streep as a blonde ha too funny. Good job cheers.
Now we know why Mona Lisa is smiling - she and Leonardo
are blessed to be faithful readers of your world class poetry hubs!
Very good. I suppose it was obvious one day you would put Mona Lisa on a bike. You are always on one yourself.
She certainly looks natural in whatever clothes she had on, except as Mr Bean and a couple of others.
I liked this. Thanks.
You just get better. Thoroughly enjoyed.
This is what i got from this lovely piece...
God gave Mona Lisa life and wheels with wings.
It tells a lot about someone i know...My mother!
Thanks Dad,i enjoyed my stay in your palace today.
...hahaha! I never thought of Mona Lisa's new looks!
"She’s moving music and mobile art.She took my wheel and took my heart."-great! I can imagine now if she had a bicycle.. ^.^
Thank you Sir for making me smile and change my mood this morning.^.^
Hi, Mickey, I forgot to mention a really interesting but bizarre 'fact' about the Mona Lisa. According to new research, done by scientists blah blah etc, evidently they now seem to think that the mona lisa was in fact leonardo da vinci himself! when they looked at his original paintings of himself, he looked like her, so they checked out the facial recognition thingy, and lo and behold, it was him! crafty sod, aint he? lol also they did the same on the Turin Shroud and they think that was him as well! so there you go, waddya think of that then? weird! Nell
LOL, very funny hub with some very crazy pictures!
absolutely wonderful very well done.
Lovely and so artistic! This is freaking awesome! =)
Absolutely delightful! Love your sense of humor! Wonderfully done article! 5 stars!

Hi Micky - Not many people could read this with out a smile. Except maybe the lady herself. I think you have solved a mystery - looking at the picture of the Mona Lisa walking on the beach with her shores in her hand - she looks much happier than in the original. Now I know why she was not smiling for her portrait, her new shoes were too painful.
Lots of work went into this, you earn all the good comments you get, well done.
gotta come back to this hub and say that I would like to see Mona Lisa in the painting by EDVARD MUNCH - THE SCREAM!!
I scream you scream we all scream - not for ice cream - but for anything by MR. DEE!

Well done, MD ! Mona Lisa would really need the bicycle.
Simply WOW
A very very funny one on Mona Lisa...
What did Mona say?
If Mona Lisa had a bicycle - she would pass by Lance Armstrong to catch up with you Mister Sir of Dee!!!!
There is no where else on earth I could find anything like this. Not even in my closet. And a Mr. Bean Mona Lisa, too? Wow!
Well, this is just brilliant Micky Dee. It just takes you in and you keep gawking and gawking and wondering what kind of person could think of something like this. Only a true bicyclist slash poet I have to say.
Thanks for so much fun on a sunny Friday morning in NYC!
Rated up of course and hilarious!
