I may not walk.
Please take the pillows,
where you lay...
your precious head.
And I hope you'll,
take the lamp,
and take the bed.
Take the rugs,
take your hugs,
take your arms,
and other charms.
Take your face,
but leave some grace,
for no one,
can take your place!

in my eyes.

Yo Tom! This was my country song that came to me while sitting on the porch watch the sun, birds, and squirrels come up. It took a little time to write most of it. It took the rest of the day to put the hub together. God bless you Sir! You know I love your stuff!

You are a Dear! I believe you are a kind person and we need more of you. I try to love you ladies as best I can and that's best from a distance. I'd hate to break your streak! My heart's been tenderized, ground up, grilled, set on fire, and fricasseed in the microwave. But things are looking bright. If we take it to the light.

Wow Micky, that was a very moving piece. Though you can see the words carry some truth in them, the pain is palatable. I guess we all know pain of losing those we love, but sometimes it feels that no one has ever felt such loss but you. Anyways, I hope this is just a beautiful poem and not raw wounds. I pray for you all the time Brother.

I always love sentimental poem you created, Micky. So gentle, even in sadness.
Strange as it seems, I feel not a sadness in this piece, there is something beyond that, it touches something more, some mystery unraveled and yet to be! I know that sounds weird but, that is what I see. I myself do not understand what I just wrote, it is what comes in. I feel a calmness as I read each line, a release, A letting go, and yet encompassing so much more of love itself!
I must go now or this will be a hub that is a reading from reading a poem so revealing and inspiring!
